Welcome to NEXUS and the Nexus OS Mobile Application ("Services"). Your privacy is of paramount importance to us. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, process, disclose, and protect your information when you use our web platform and mobile app.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, as well as data automatically generated during your interactions with our Services:

  • Account Registration & Login Data: When you create an account or sign in, we collect your authentication credentials (email address and password). If you register or authenticate using third-party providers (such as Google, Apple, or Facebook Login), we receive authorized profile data, including your name, email address, profile picture, and provider-specific unique user identifier (UID).
  • OTP Verification Data: We collect and process your email address and generate temporary OTP codes to verify your identity during registration and password reset operations.
  • User-Generated Content (UGC): When you use our artificial intelligence tools, we process and temporarily store the prompts, inputs, parameters, and generated assets (images, videos, audio clips, canvas projects, and document edits) to support saving, syncing, sharing, and download functions.
  • Device & Usage Data: We collect technical details such as your IP address, device hardware model, operating system version, browser type, storage statistics (e.g., local model cache size), and anonymized usage logs (features accessed, processing duration, and error codes) to optimize app performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following legal and operational purposes:

  • To establish, maintain, and secure your user account and verify your identity via OTP.
  • To power our core AI content generation systems (images, videos, text, and audio) and synchronize your workspace across devices.
  • To enable user-controlled sharing to integrated social media channels (e.g., YouTube, TikTok, Facebook) at your explicit request.
  • To improve our algorithms, local model execution efficiency, and overall user experience.
  • To monitor, detect, and prevent fraudulent activity, policy violations, and objectionable content.

3. Sharing of Information and Sub-Processors

We do not sell your personal data or user-generated content. We share data only with trusted service providers (sub-processors) necessary to deliver our Services:

  • Firebase (Google): For user authentication, cloud Firestore database hosting, storage, and secure serverless functions.
  • Third-Party AI Service Providers: To process text prompts and render AI-generated media content (such as text, images, videos, and audio), we securely transmit your inputs to our trusted AI sub-processors. These include, but are not limited to: Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), Fal AI, xAI (Grok), Replicate, Luma AI, Qwen, Runway, Kling, Minimax, Ideogram, Hailuo, and Stable Audio. Your data is strictly used by these providers to fulfill your generation requests and is subject to their respective privacy policies and data processing agreements.
  • Payment Processors: Transactions are processed through Apple App Store In-App Purchases or secure web gateways. We do not store credit card details on our servers.

4. Data Retention, Deletion, and In-App Deletion Rights

We retain your information as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with Services.

Your Right to Delete Your Account:

You have the absolute right to delete your account and all associated personal data at any time:

  • In-App Deletion (Mobile Application): You can delete your account natively by navigating to your Profile app inside the Nexus OS environment, tapping the Delete Account button in the Danger Zone, and confirming your decision. This operation immediately deletes your Firestore user document (users/{uid}) and permanently deletes your authentication credentials from Firebase.
  • Web Deletion Request: You can request account deletion by emailing us directly at team@thenexusof.ai. We will process your request and remove all associated records within 72 hours.

5. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not designed for or targeted at individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.

6. Security

We employ industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical security measures to safeguard your credentials and content. However, no database or transmission channel is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
